For some vehicles, particularly sports cars with boot lid spoilers and some exotic European vehicles the Saris Bones rack, due to its shape and adjustability, is the most suitable carrier to use. Available in 2 or 3 bike versions the stylish Bones rack is a good looking carrier that is easy to fit and folds flat for easy storage when not in use. With the simplest mounting system the Ezi-Grip carrier is the easiest bike carrier to fit to your vehicle. Simply place the carrier over the tow ball and tighten the grubscrew with the supplied allen key. No crouching down or laying on the ground or searching about for a large enough spanner as with some other carriers. Your bikes are each held securely in padded quick release clamps which are able to be repositioned on the carrier so that even bikes with sloping top tubes can sit horizontally. Manufactured in Melbourne, all VRAK bike carriers are exceptionally durable and are Zinc plated to prevent rust. This bike carrier is the basic model in the range. It bolts directly to the vehicles tow bar tongue and has a clamping top plate that holds the bikes in position. It is available in 2, 3 or 4 bike versions. Lights are available as an optional extra. A folding 2, 3 or 4 bike VRAK may be the answer to many bike carrying questions. They are ideal for station wagons, vans or utes as it is still possible to access the tail gate by folding the carrier down, rather than removing the carrier as with standard models. A folding 2, 3 or 4 bike "A" frame rack enables you to carry bikes while towing a caravan or trailer. They are also ideal for heavy load conditions, utes, vans or station wagons as it is still possible to access the tail gate by folding the carrier down, rather than removing the carrier as with standard models. Accessory manufacturer Pacific have two models available of their economical and extremely practical Single Tube bike rack. Bolting directly to your cars tow bar, these 2 or 3 bike carriers feature rubber padding to protect the bike frames, velcro hold down straps which even accommodate oversize frames, and strengthening braces that can be utilised as locking points if needed. Like simplicity? Another great Pacific rack is this A frame style which allows you to tow a trailer or caravan while still carrying your bikes. Great for family holidays or camping trips. The design of these racks allow the A frame section to be quickly and easily removed from the vehicle while still leaving the base attached. Available to carry 2,3 or 4 bikes and they also have the option of a “Boomerang base” which increases clearance between the vehicle and the rack which is a must for 4 wheel drives etc with a spare wheel attached to the rear door. Occasionally a bike, because of its shape or frame design will prove to be difficult to fit to a bike carrier. Usually this can be overcome by use of an adaptor bar, such as these two pictured. Connecting between the seat post and the head stem they provide an alternative clamping position and allows lady frame bikes, some children's bikes and mountain bikes to be carried rather than stuffed in the back of the car or left at home. The yellow one is $35 and the economy version is $20.



Adapter bars provide a simple solution when the bike just won't fit. This model has 2 quick release buttons for absolute simplicity of operation. Very quick and easy to attach. The price is $26
