The Silca Pista Floor Pump is the old Standard and still a favourite. It seems to last forever. It has a stable base, and the gauge and head are both fully serviceable. The head can be adjusted for use with both Presta and Schrader valves. The reservoir has an air pressure gauge mounted on the top which reads up to 240 PSI or 16 barometric atmospheres. Price is $85

Zefal HPX. The ZEFAL HPX pump is one of the best on the market if you need a reliable, easy to use, high-pressure pump to carry with you on your bike. You can easily get a tire to 120 lb. pressure with one of these. They have a reversible head so you can set it up for your Presta or your Schrader valve. Frame pumps, like the HPX, are more efficient than mini-pumps because each stroke moves so much air that fewer strokes are required. The HPX is made of aluminium. The handle of the HPX compresses to form a spring fit in your frame. There is a bracket at one end to fit into a frame joint and a dimple at the other end to fit onto a pump peg.
