The Diadora Team Racer MTB shoes have shiny accents and look oh so Euro. The midsole is nylon and fiberglass, and the shoe has a full-carbon lasting board, which means the stiff composite material runs from heel to forefoot, creating an ultrastiff pedaling platform. Thankfully Diadora made the heel with a degree of ergonomic support as well as with what the company calls close-fitting dual-density Polytech. That means if you have to jump off in a portage section the heel won't slip. We also like the durable, easy-to-use ratchet closure and large push-button release--it never got stuck or malfunctioned. |

The all new 2011 model A-two has been given an all new design. As with the Vaypor the new A-two now has a lowered carbon height around the toe box area.
The model is made by hand from a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass. The liner and outer skin are both made of light weight microfiber materials. This shoe has a stack height of just 4.4mm. The A-two is an extremely stiff shoe that allows you to get all your power down to the road. There is virtually no flex in this shoe whatsoever yet it remains comfortable due to the last shape. |
